SERVICE: Celebration Of Life will take place on 03/16/2019 from 11 AM-1 PM.  Service will begin at 1 PM and conclude and 2 PM.  Both of these gatherings will be at Indiana Funeral Care.  8151 Allisonville Road Indianapolis, IN 46250

LAST ASSIGNMENT: Ronald began his career in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter for several years on the Washington Township Fire Department.  His was first assigned at the fire station in Ravenswood as a volunteer.  He was officially hired in 1975.  This Ravenswood fire station eventually closed and became the department’s fleet garage for apparatus repairs, so he relocated to station 221 at 71st and Keystone area.  Eventually he transferred to station 222 at Grandview and Michigan Road.  But then that station was closed, and it became the newest fleet garage.  So finally he moved to station 224 at 84th and Ditch Road until retirement in September 2000.  After retiring, he continued to work at the department’s shop, delivering supplies to fire stations within Washington Township Fire Department or was driving fire apparatus to and from their fleet services as needed for maintenance
