LAST ASSIGNMENT: We can start with this; Denny retired from The IFD as a second retirement. Denny was an Eagle Scout, my guess is, one of the few on the job. Denny was a 1975 Graduate of West Point! He was commissioned as an Army Infantry Officer, and served 20 plus years, retiring from Ft. Benjamin Harrison Indianapolis. Denny’s service to his Country was followed by service to His Community, in a 21 plus year career with The IFD. Denny spent the majority of his career at Station #27, so shying away from work was NOT in his nature, retiring as Chauffeur. Denny loved travel, reading, the outdoors, and any and all activities involving his family.
