Reading of the Names

Tomorrow will be our annual Reading of the Names ceremony here at the Hall.  This event remembers all of our fallen and each name is read individually to memorialize them, their efforts and sacrifice.  This year, thankfully, we will not be adding any names to the pillars of the memorial.  We will however be adding a plaque honoring Robert Madden who was assigned to Engine 5 when he went to fight in WWI and was killed while serving in France, August 8th 1918.  Everyone is cordially invited to attend, class A uniform is appropriate, but not required.

The Retiree’s Club will have their monthly breakfast here at the Hall at 9am and then we will have the ceremony at 11am in front of the museum.  We look forward to seeing everyone here.
