Brother Joel Johnston’s passing

[upme_private]

Brother and Sisters,

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you – our Brother Joel Johnston lost his battle with cancer today.  Joel (45) passed away earlier this morning.  Joel valiantly battled cancer since his diagnosis in February and both he and his family were very appreciative of the support all of you showed.  Joel served 16 years on the IFD and his current assignment was Ladder 29 A Shift.  Joel leaves behind his wife Loran, son Dylan (17), daughter Abigail (16), son Gavin (13) daughter Amelia (12) and his parent’s Jay and MaryAnn Johnston. Please keep Joel and his family in your prayers in their time of sorrow.

Services are pending and information will be made available as soon as possible.
